  • Duties and Responsibilities

    Corix Water Products has an immediate opening for a Compensation and Benefits Analyst, reporting to the Director, Human Resources and HSE. This position will be based out of our Langley office. To support the company's growth in Canada and the US, the successful candidate will supports the design, development, implementation and management of compensation and benefits programs. The analyst will act as a lead and subject matter expert for the company’s HRIS.

     

    Benefits:

    • Responsible for the day-to-day benefits administration and acts as the contact for issue escalation in Canada and US.
    • Leads the annual Flexible Benefits Open Enrollment process, including development of communication tools.              
    • Support the review of benefits plan design, market competitiveness, process improvement and benefits plan renewal process.
    • Prepares modelling and cost analysis related to benefits programs.
    • Manages disability cases, including coordination and communication with employees, managers and third party providers.

     

    Compensation:

    • Conducts external market pricing and researches trends and best practices around compensation.
    • Participates in various compensation surveys to ensure access to up-to-date information.
    • Prepares modelling and cost analysis for existing and proposed compensation programs.
    • Supports the development and documentation of compensation related policies and procedures.
    • Produces regular and ad-hoc reports.
    • Performs salary administration, coordinating the merit increase process and performing analysis to verify manager recommendations, and administers employee incentive plans.
    • Reviews monthly billing invoices for any adjustments, including dependent additions/deletions, and optional insurance changes. 
    • Works with operations managers to ensure compliance with compensation policies and procedures while achieving operational goals
    • Administers annual review of employee benefit changes based on years of service.

    Qualifications

    • Completion of a university degree in Business, Human Resources Management or Finance.
    • At least five years of experience in a compensation and benefits role.              
    • Experience working in a North American organization is an asset.         
    • Outstanding analytical skills and ability to manage large amounts of data.                
    • Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze costs.                     
    • Strong detail orientation and focus on accuracy.                  
    • Must have expert computer skills. Advanced skills in Word and Excel, with knowledge of PowerPoint and SharePoint.                          
    • Ability to work independently and within a team with limited supervision.          
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.                
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.                      
    • Experience managing an HRIS is an asset.
